Help with a lost manual sunroof screw!

#1 Post by Richard Leonetti »

Hi all, I was recently asked to help someone who lost the screw for the manual sunroof "T" handle. These are special screws that are hollow and threaded. Being that all the sunroofs are manufactured by Golde there is no specs for the screw available from Porsche. I'm either looking for a screw for sale or a screw to borrow to have it reproduced on a CNC lathe. Thanks in advance!

Bob Watts did a recreation of the T handle recently, he probably can help.

Here is John Copello's Samba classifieds page. If he has made it in the past he can make it again, try contacting him and see what he says.
