356 Electrics Books by Joe Leoni available for free to members

#1 Post by Michael Branning »

Some members have missed that PDF’s of all the Leoni books are in our tech library, free for members, so I’m adding this note.

Here is the link to the download page on the main website: https://porsche356registry.org/content. ... _id=508436

Joe's books have been a huge help for many of us over the years, I noticed on the downloads, that the right margin is cut short, so some of the diagrams aren't complete, at least that is the case for the A Schematics and Description. Is it possible to fix the scans?

Steve, good catch. I see that most of the circuit description books have missing information and discovered the MS Word file we received is missing that information. Our contractor (not a car person) didn't catch this. (I should have.) I will reach out to the Leoni's to see if they have a complete MS Word file. Worse case, I'll scan the missing pages from a hardcopy and insert them into the file.

Regards,
Michael

Update - I finally had time to review the files and my treasured hardcopies (purchased years ago). I misinterpreted a number of almost blank pages to be missing data, but that is not the case. These pages are like "cover pages" for the following section. So I don't see any missing data. Steve, if you can point out something specific I'll look further.

Michael. When I downloaded the 356A schematics file the right hand margin cuts off part of the page.
I attached a screen shot, I can scroll vertically, but not horizontally, so I assume that the total page is not being shown.

Michael, If I download the file to the cloud and view it on my iPad then the whole page is visible. When I click on the icon to view the pages without downloading then on the Mac it cuts off the right side. I guess I have to download the file to view the complete pages.

Ok the files are ok which was my first concern. Email me info on your Mac OS version and we can troubleshoot if you’d like.
