Spring Carlisle Requests?
Hi all I'm going to be at Carlisle and I have a TON of parts. Is anyone looking for anything specifically or do you have any opinion on what does/doesn't sell?
Thanks, Richie

Hi Richard. I'll be going to the Carlisle swap meet and will be sure to stop by your table. 356 parts are sometimes hit or miss, but I've had good luck selling things.

Big stuff that is hard to ship, that's what people want. Sheet metal, heavy stuff. If you can pre-sell it for delivery at Carlisle that is the best case scenario. Small stuff that you can ebay, leave for ebay. Think big!

Big, rusty parts are hard to sell at any swap meet

But if you pre-sell them by putting them on the forums ahead of time it makes things a lot easier. Just make sure you're paid before you pack.

I'll disagree with Adam about smalls. I've bought a lot of small stuff, and also usually sell most small stuff I've brought to swaps. It depends on what it is, of course. For instance, if you bring a bunch of old bumper overriders, you'll take them all home. Good stuff sells if the price is right.

Yeah, but "priced right" is half of ebay pricing. People usually don't want to do that. But the big stuff is impossible to sell otherwise, so that's the stuff to bring and unload.Bruce Smith wrote: ↑Thu Mar 23, 2023 2:29 am I'll disagree with Adam about smalls. So anyone who wants to bring me wheels or sheet metal, I'm game.

I would also agree on smalls, this is usually what I am looking for myself, nobody want to spend the cost of the shipping and double the price of a small piece. And when you get to go through bins of small(er) parts, it is part of the fun of the swap meet, digging for treasures, finding things you did not know until then you needed.

Hi all, I appreciate the tips! I received a couple of direct messages although I'm unsure how to respond to them via emails
