Mirror

Aero mirror w twist.jpg
I may have the pic in the wrong place.
My question, did Porsche offer different mirrors for right and left sides for 356 cars?
I have a mirror that has a twist in the neck, looks like it would be for the right side.
Its an original mirror, I believe Aero, with the markings on the head.

According to my good friend Jesse Rodriguez (r.i.p.), there was a left and right Aero mirror.

Interesting. Mine does not look like someone cold have twisted the
shaft in to that position, but who knows.
Thank you, Mike. Jesse would have known..

Hi Jesse
I am considering placing the mirror on the right side of my 60 Roadster.
On your car, is having the second mirror giving you extra vision? I dont
want to drill holes just for looks.
Do you have a picture with the second mirror in place?
Dr Johnson's book does not mention that there is a mirror for the right side,
since it has a bend to the left I call it my Democrat.

John, this is an A mirror.. too early for your roadster... but you could always pass it as 'leftover part from dealer stock'. I would personally go for a Talbot or a ponto stabil

Hi Jules
Its the type that is on the drivers side so I have little choice.
I like to form anyway, has a good sweeping look.
