Does anyone know what "Kunst L. F. Pond" translates to? It is a description of some interior finish.

Thanks

Well...Kunstleder is leatherette. Pond is a mystery to me. The Kunst part generally refers to "imitation" something...

Jim,
something is missing here. Could you take a picture of this fragment?

The document I have has a column with the exact heading (Kunst L. F. Pond) mentioned above. I know it is for some kind of upholstery material, but not where it goes.

Jim,
"Pond" is a bit strange.. could it be "Fond"? meaning backseats or rear??? Porsche cars were built in a very thrifty part of Germany ("sell your dog and bark yourself"). Maybe only the front seats were (partly) covered in real leather and the back in "imitation leather".
