Check out the red coupe just listed. The presentation is spectacular. I don't think it will remain unsold for long.

Sad to see Dick selling his car, it is very, very nice. The restoration was done by brothers Lee and Neil Schlabaugh at Stalltek in Iowa.

Dick and "ruby" have been a familiar sight at many local 356 and early Porsche events in AZ. Sorry to hear about his health issues. Hope Ruby finds a good home, preferably here in AZ of course, she is a beautiful coupe!

A sad point in time for Dick but one we all will inevitably face. A very well done 356 will have a new conservator.

It is very nice, and very well priced (low)
I will send it off to a friend of mine that is looking.
This looks to be a very solid car that you could actually drive, and the cost is way below the cost of purchase and restoration.

Hey Guys Dick has been one of our biggest fans. : ) He has been a great friend and customer since '93 when we started working on Ruby. After we got the car done we had a party at the shop with friends and the next day he drove it to Road America then to Milwaukee to see family, in the rain no less! He was never afraid of talking a trip with it and drove all over with all his photography equipment stuffed in the back. He has a ton of stories of his adventures and we hope the new owner will continue to drive her and make his own adventures.

Yes, he drove the car from Eastern Iowa to the Phoenix area yearly for the Winter and joined the Arizona Outlaws in the Winter drives.

And he even used TAN and The356Registry and documented it once on his drive home to Iowa from Arizona viewtopic.php?t=41493 A well loved machine will be bought by some lucky Custodian.

I am happy to report that Ruby has a new owner and she will be shipped from Scottsdale to South Carolina.

I've had incredible adventures while driving across the USA with Ruby, for over 65,000 miles and 34 years. The 356 Registry members have been a wonderful part of my life and we have shared great times together. A hard part of growing older is knowing when it is time to move on and to find pleasure in embracing all the memories that have brought joy for so many years. Thanks to all of you for a great ride together.
