Vintage Trader's LED Headlights

#1 Post by Herlin E. Woolery »

Just wanted to share that Jules 6-volt LEDs are bright, you can adjust these to the level where it should be according to the manual, the throw of light is nostalgic warm color and matches my parking lights.
My License now can be seen due to brighter output from the Leds.
Thanks so much Jules for showing me the light, LEDs wise.

Glad to see them in your 356 Herlin! Bright yet authentic looking!

Nice additional benefit: when updating your dash and exterior lights to LED, when turning on your headlights, the load on the generator is reduced from 144watts (over 23A) to just about 42 watts (7amps) at much better output. Your charging system will thank you!

I installed a set of Vintage Trader 6v LED headlights recently. I went out last night for a drive in the dark.

What an improvement! The lights are a nice, warm color. Brightness, range and light spread on both low and high beams is amazing. Hard to believe it's running on 6 volts.

I'd suggest these to anyone looking for improved safety and vision.

You will find Jules entire line at Stoddard NLA stocked in depth. Export is to the UK, Germany etc. And, of course, Jules manufactures and sells the entire "bulb" selection.

Jay, I ship worldwide, or you can go through Stoddard / Brad of course.

There is light at the end of the tunnel after all. 6 volt no less. 8)

The light bulbs are the same. It is the headlight glass that makes it LHD or RHD.
