My drive turned out to be a short trip….was running great… but all of a sudden died. No spark.. and thoughts.

Re: 2022 drive your 356 Day
Here are some from Florida, they both are 1964 C coupes, and both were factory Signal Red and Black Interior. We live 1.5 miles from each other. We put about 140 miles on each of them today, using all back two lane roads. We went from Hobe Sound, out to Lake Palatka, then to a Okeechobee, and back home. Both cars ran excellent like they were meant to be driven. I was considering this my shake down cruise because over the last two weeks, I have installed Precision Matters pushrod tube, rebuilt one double flapper heater box, rebuilt the fuel pump, installed a Remflex exhaust gaskets, replaced the front shift shaft seal in the front of the gearbox, and all of the shifter bushings. Been a very busy two weeks. My wife and I and our two dogs are driving it up to Little Switzerland on the 29th to visit family, should be fun.

I always pull the distributor cap first and check the point gap and see if you have spark at the points, then move on from there,

That would be the very next thing on the list, do you have a spare? When you do a tune up, heepmthe old working one as a spare, since it was working when you took it off for the tune up.Greg Erickson wrote: ↑Sun Sep 18, 2022 6:10 pm Thanks James for your comments.
