Re: Live from th3 WestCoast Holiday
Here’s some photos of a beautiful car at the WCH. I was negligent in not taking more photos of the cars on display or getting the name of the owners. I’m sure that someone will supply that information. The artist used 92 colors. Some of the paints are metallic. There are personal memories on the car such as the dog and cranes and Monument Valley. A real masterpiece. Enlarge the photos and feast your eyes.
The holiday was well done and the drives were great. Skies were crystal clear and temperatures were 62-80. A great time. Our Trustee Debbie Cooper and Club Coordinator Lori Schultz worked the entire time, more than the event volunteers. Above and beyond. Trustees Rhys Haydon and I also attended as participants/volunteers. I’m sure that a full report on the event will be forthcoming.
This was the 13th holiday I attended and every one has been memorable. Once as an organizer of the 2005 Gulf Coast Holiday in Boerne, Texas. Holidays are put on by volunteers who step up to enable us owners to meet our old friends and make new ones as well has have a good time doing it. It’s a great opportunity to see other cars in all condition from rusty buckets to concours ready and exchange information about modifications and improvements. I always learn something at each tech session. The Trustees have just approved an East Coast Holiday in North Carolina in September 2023 and are hoping someone will volunteer for another holiday further west. It doesn’t have to be on the west coast. We have had holidays all over the country and each one has been special. There is plenty of assistance available for planning a successful holiday. The club has prepared a guidebook and we have experienced people for lots of hand holding. We just need some local volunteers and a good location.

Re: Live from th3 WestCoast Holiday
Now that I am home with good internet I will resume posting photos. The WCH was great, very low-key, time to relax with friends, Paso Robles has like 250 wineries, downtown and easy 40+ restaurants, and the hotel pool was well used. Thanks to all who helped Joe to put it all together
These photos are from Thursday evening dinner at the Cass Winery, wonderful location, sunset views over the vineyards. Lori Schutz was the MC,

Re: Live from th3 WestCoast Holiday
Friday afternoon we had pool time and an "on your own" dinner. Blast and Brew with a self service tap wall, 30 beers and 12 wines, stick your card in the slot and pour, great food too.
