The very first Ferdinand Porsche memorial ice-race in Zell Am See in 1952

#1 Post by Tim Havermans »

Probably you all have heard about the GP Ice Race. The event takes place in Zell am See, close to the Schuttgut where Wolfgang Porsche resides, and where you can find
the chapel where among others the old professor Ferdinand Porsche is buried.
But did you know that today, February 10 2022 it is exactly 70 years ago that the inaugural ice-race took place to commemorate Ferdinand Porsche ?

You can read the complete story in this article The inaugural Ferdinand Porsche memorial ice-race in Zell Am See in 1952
