Another Source for Hood Straps

#1 Post by Brad K »

hey guys - i have been looking at hood straps for my '62 356B T6 since about 2008 - i have looked at all sorts of sources, and some are no longer available, like the saddle maker's - i know the stock colors appear to be tan or black - i wanted to see other options - i found black, dark brown, and tan (more orange/red) at this company in the uk - the prices were very reasonable, even with vat and shipping - it took a while but i recieved a pair of dark brown and tan - i'm very happy with the quality, and having straps in my hands was very useful for determining where they could actually be mounted (hood has limited flat space) - i still don't know if i'll commit to the install, but i thought i would pass this info along - hope this is useful - no affiliation

Someone once mentioned using super magnets. Sounds like a great idea- I could never drill my car for straps.
