Dave, love those seat belts.. where did you get them..
btw .. the picture of your car stripped of it's paint is just not fair.. mine was way way off of that, and I an sure most are way way off of that, what a great find ! I am envious..

Belts came from the west coast of Canada. https://vintageseatbelts.com Nice guy and fast turn around. He has the Porsche labels in stock and simply asks for the build date so he can stamp them.

So you are leaving the mirrors on the front fenders?

Yes. That’s how the car was originally delivered. No holes in the doors.

Did the dealers usually put the mirrors on the doors?
Where did the factory install the mirrors.

    I believe they were dealer installed. Not mentioned on Kardex at all. I don’t have any holes in my doors where the would have traditionally been mounted.

    Looking good. You’re doing a fantastic job on your restoration. When your interior time comes, I make the proper recreated Reutter Headliner for your car. The material is color matched very light grey with the elongated Diamond hole perforation pattern. Contact me for more info if interested. best/Michael
