Re: Restoration (Now going mild Oulaw) 1964 356C Coupe 217115
Harry.
I’m in the same conundrum. To drill or not to drill. I had to drill my old ruby red 356 hood and it was a stressful event.
I found this chopped A handle and I like this idea. But if you’re going to drill, do you dare drill non standard?
Regardless, I’ve enjoyed seeing your build and your car is spectacular.

Craig, you can always drill, enjoy as is unless or until You are certain. I think no handle goes well with the GT bumper trim. I like the color of your car. Very nice.Craig Colaluca wrote: ↑Sun Mar 15, 2020 5:44 pm Harry.

Harry,
The car is looking fantastic.
Can I ask what the bracket is to the side of the radio, can I see USB ports behind it.

Even though the car has had a total restoration, I intend to drive it on a regular basis. The attachment is where a mini iPad (w/cellular service) mounts for GPS. The USB ports provide power and access to the radio speakers. The radio is also Bluetooth, and Sirius equipped.
The engine in the car is a 912 with Solex carbs and a big bore kit producing about 115 HP.
All lighting is LEDs with SMD headlights. Fat boy insulation behind all ’stock’ insulation.
All of this and more is designed to make the car comfortable, dependable and safe for regular use.
Regards,
Harry

Harry,
You have excelled in the restoration of the 64C, a really beautiful job.
I am not familiar with the Getty music, but will youtube and have a listen.
Get the hood handle on!LOL

It is interesting the response the hood handle gets. It is chromed and ready for install. Andy Daugherty did 99% of the restoration.EricMcKinley wrote: ↑Thu Mar 26, 2020 4:02 am Harry,

Your restoration is stunning and the only thing that would make it better for me would be the hood handle, congrats.
