A sunny day and a bit milder weather here in Canada so dragged the body out for undercoating and top coating with semi gloss. Tough as nailsnow and easy to touch up.

Some parts epoxy coated then sprayed with single stage poly enamel semi gloss. It was a warm day with no wind so shot outside then inside to cure.

Thanks Will. The nasty part is the sandblasting. My friend has the setup I use but it’s just a noise, messy and time consuming process. With lock down on no better time to do it before the warmer weather.

Removed old bushing and put in new bushings. Put in new pins and made sure the zerk grease fittings were functioning. I kept track of the number of shims on each side of the pin and which pin when I disassembled so I new how many shims and where to put the new ones on the pin. I am assuming the shims on the pin end nest in the rubber gasket.

Trailing arms are in. Set at 16 degrees. Had to use a ratchet strap to pull up the arms under tension to clear lower bolt hole.

Motor work progressing well thanks to master support from Walt McKay. Motor is on the test stand and runs very smooth. Lots of adjustments still to do as well as swapping out some more restored original parts. But some great progress.

Sent my rear original lid off to GTwerks to have louvers pressed in. Very happy with their work.
