Is it something he is selling now, or more of a one-off? I like it.

Just drove 1600 miles in 3 days on the new trans SF to Emory Campout by the coast, 70mph at 3100RPM, my girlfriend said "wow, we can talk" hahaha.
Here are some of the highlight of installation:
- You can adjust the tubes shim out of the car before installation, then drop the box in the car without tubes and axle.
- The axles are retained using shim and large Clip using the clip tool provided.
- Solid boots can be installed/replace much quicker since you don't have to take the full trans out
- same for Fulcrum plates
- Rear light switch uses two similar connector as 741
- New shifter assembly and link provide a great feel and gears are easy to locate
- The new fork and clutch lever are really nicely made and no problem to instal compared to repro ones on regular boxes.
Here are some pictures of the install:
Good things to know:
- I used one shim on both sides, coated with Dirko, and no leaks
- box takes 4.2L of gear oil
- mileage average 29 mpg after install with my non tuned 1.9L

Greg:
Thanks for posting this. It seems to check off many of the criteria on the original (features) wish list that was posted for this thread. Cruising at 70 mph at 3100 is in the power band and a lot quieter than 4100 revs, something to think about with old, tired ears.
Please keep us updated with your experiences.

Yes, there is nothing on their website and you can't find much about it on the internet.
I just wrote them an e-mail and wait for response. Sometimes i do not understand why those companies, who are making really good products, do not offer their stuff on some platforms or at least on their homepage... There is also nothing on their Facebook site.. what would be so easy.
I hope they come back with an answer soon :-)

Greg, did you have to change the 4th and 5th gears to get a good cruising ratio? I think I may have read that the typical 901 gearing is about the same as a typical 356 in 4th gear. Is this true?

Hi Martin,

I used a tailshift 914 gearbox as a donor, most of them have ZD 5th gear which is fairly long, other ratios are pretty close to what the previously installed 741 2C had (slightly shorter 2nd i think) , i have been driving in the city a little today and it's pretty zippy

I’ll be at the 356 registry reunion Friday if some of you want to take a look and chat , my car is easily recognizable as it’s most likely the dirtiest brown with green hood car you’ll see

I cannot believe this is finally going to happen. Are there any potential installers on east coast?
