Hi there,
I just found # 200 679
It seems that is hat been sold in Tokyo recently. https://jmm911.com/porsche-356b-karmann ... %801961-2/
I also had found one near Stuttgart by chance, but the man wouldn't let me know the vin # unless I am willing to buy the car... Well at least it's good to know that there are chances to find more of these rare beauties.

Stay safe and healthy

Christoph

I am the proud (relatively) new owner of 200954 which now resides in Oregon. Records indicate a crash sometime in 2013. Currently floors and longitudinals have been replaced and is now being driven throughout the entire year. I acquired the car as partial payment for my pre-a speedster which was not very usable here in the colder and wetter months. I will continue to drive it and personalize "RUBY" while she is mine.

This is my brother Harry's car, it started life as a T6 Hardtop, the VIN is 202074.
Now it is a convertible with a removeable hardtop with sunroof. It also has a 911SC drivetrain, with a curb weight of about 2,200 lbs. it can keep up with traffic.
It won its class and Peoples Choice at the 2007 Porsche Parade.

Wasn’t there some 356 with striping tape on the roof marking the imagined edges of its gullwing doors?

Finally, OK probably will never be completely done.....But I have finished to the point that Ted Blake and his guys (Paul and Ken) only could pick a couple of things wrong. Worst was the trim plastic under the chrome window strip on door and quarter panel. I just absolutely did not replace as it was missing when the car was dismantled...I thought. Drove it 100 miles to Sacramento last week. No problems at all. I will never tyre of replying the thumbs up to well wishers along the way.

Nice find Adam. Makes you wonder sometimes how many more cars, like speedsters, are still out there hiding.
