George Bryan wrote: Tue Dec 22, 2020 9:54 am Nice find Adam. Makes you wonder sometimes how many more cars, like speedsters, are still out there hiding.
There are a lot of Speedsters out there, but I end up passing on most of them. Speedsters have become like 4cam parts where they tend to be overvalued by owners. It's always justified with the words, "But it's a Speedster!" I've bought far more roadsters than speedsters for this reason.
You can overprice anything, even a Speedster.

Also, for anyone keeping records on the notchbacks the ones above are VIN 200874 and 202112.

Closest VIN I've seen to mine yet (200443) and looks a lot like it. Nice!

I should have said this is 200 476

The car is still a work in progress so I am going to get in trouble with my son for releasing the Photographs too early
In fact it has already moved on internally since these shots were taken

It's like when I sold my old brick mansion, the guy who inspected it for the buyers so, "No mold, because the wind goes right through!"

Working on VIN 201720. You can add her to the list. Nice to find long lost cousins. Body off restoration. Bali blue w red interior, numbers matching, original windshield, no shunts. Will post photos once I have progressed.

Just curious of you received my post this morning - original owner #201840 356B T6 Karmann Notchback.
Alive and well and still on the road in Springfield VA, Potomac Owners Group (POG) and Monterey Bay Region PCA.
This was first post for me so I may have screwed it up....don't see it anywhere.
