Thanks Jules - may I ask...who is keeping this interesting list up to date? I'm new to this site, so may be mistaken, but the list here seems to be dated in
2013.

Thanks Jon - just finished an extended prep and new paint (Sikkens silver). All back together and waiting for a slot at Collier's shop in Manassas for a new headliner. Anxious to get back on the road Fired her up last week...I can tell the car is straining at the bit for some exercise also.

Pete, see #'s 310 and 311 in section 21 concerning the Karmann Hardtop list. Have fun - the more you drive her the better she'll run.

Wouldn't that be a 61? My T5 is 200443, completed June 22, 1961.

Assuming it didn't take them more than 6 months to build another 500 cars, but maybe this one was early 62.

I have a 62 Notch Vin 202172. It was in a barn in Wyoming for many years so needs some TLC. The previous owner Vern Swain passed away and left a small collection of Porsches and I was lucky enough to get the Notch through European Collectibles. Its currently being worked on by PRS in the UK.

Originally silver with blue interior it seems he stripped it down, undercoated it and like many projects left it in pieces.

I want to drive it in its current state for a while...

#201976 bought in 1975 as my daily driver. Parked in 1984 for restoration. Hope to start that process this year.

202248, a T-6, recently surfaced on Ebay. Black/Red 1962. Recently did an extensive PPI on this car. If you are a registry member and interested in this vehicle, you are welcome to give me a call to chat about my observations.I have no association with the owner; or any interest, financial or otherwise, in it.

Does anyone know the curb weight of a 1961 356 T5 Karmann Hardtop? I would imagine it's a bit less than the B coupe, less roof metal and all. My notch wants to know ;)

Also, while T6 notchback bodies were entirely assembled by Karmann, did all the T5's start out as a Reutter-built cabriolet body with the custom top welded on by Karmann (hence no side badge by Reutter or Karmann?) There is conflicting information out there on that point.
