Re: Your 356 pic of the Day......
Whitewalls on a 356 ? Ever since seeing photos of Barry Brisco's beautiful car I've been tempted, so a request to chauffeur my niece to the church next month had me painting my tyres this weekend.
Now I'm just left with wondering how to attach a white ribbon with just one wing mirror.

Classy! Is the ribbon to run across the front if the car? If so, maybe attach it to the exterior mirror, run it under the wipers and tape the other end inside the car?

Since the doors will need to be opened and closed, how about attaching one end to the antenna and tape the other inside the other door?

The ribbon situation was resolved by threading it through the hood latch, shutting the hood and tying the ends to the sun visor brackets inside the car.Mike Wilson wrote: ↑Sat Jul 24, 2021 5:24 pm Since the doors will need to be opened and closed, how about attaching one end to the antenna and tape the other inside the other door?

It was a grand day with perfect weather for a wedding. Unfortunately, at the last minute, a totally unreasonable medical condition prevented me driving the bride so Hayley my wife did the honours which was perfect.

A great solution, Mike. I hope your medical condition was temporary and minor.

On the boat to Nantucket right now. Spent the day driving from Albany, about 3/4 of the way in the rain.
