This car made it to its first car show. (356 club show/swap in Chino Hills)
Of course it's not finished, but mechanically it's getting there. Here's a video of my driving impressions.

I've been working on my 356 again after dealing with lots of shoddy chrome work. Ugh.
Here I re-assembled the door handles and made the locks match the original ignition key code confirmed by my kardex. So many parts in a handle especially if you include the tumbler pins and springs which I also took apart
I learned the difference between right and left handed components. It turns out he the handles are the same, but the tumblers and push button sliders are handed

Hi Tom, nice that you get to finally drive it. Last winter your transmission videos were extremely useful to watch several times. They helped get me through a successful rebuild. It really wasn’t so scary.
