Hi John
i hope he OK. i am thinking of not posting since the moderators seem to prefer cutesy posts rather than controversial ones that are possibly informative technically and of benefit to all.

Hey Jacques
Don't do that. You simply tell It, the way it Is. We need You and Your experience to guide us all.
I realise that the moderators have a tough job. But we can't be brought down by a bunch of Petals !
Cliff and I got caned the other year. And as above, I ask after Ron, who's posts I also enjoy.

Too many rules, not enforced equally. Too much repetition. Too many snowflakes. Too much moderation. Boring.

I see Ron posting on other forums. Ron is defensive of his products, rightly so, and there are a few folks on the forum that seem to enjoy pulling his chain. He's probably had enough of that ...

I speak to Ron from time to time but I can’t speak for him. I would guess that if posting here were pleasant for him that he would. He has a new product in the works so you will hear from him then. If I had a 356 business I would avoid the repetitious posts that occur here. Quality moderation is lacking.

John,
Thank you for your kind words; got 'heads up' from a couple of sources.
I can only mention that my comments and efforts here have been based on learning from those who offered their guidance; Lukes and Shorman, Alan Klingen, Ken Daughtery, Joe Leoni, Harry, Craig, and others dealing with 356s in the Bay Area at the time (a SCCA C-prod racer at the time said his hemi chambers were worthless on the dyno; you catalogue that sort of data). They all offered me their data and expertise which helped to develop knowledge of 356s, 616 engines to help aim the design of Pre Mat products and to revise those designs bought from John at Mainly. I've returned the favor where I could.
Have no idea what experience you have, but there are MANY hours and much money required to develop and offer for sale products which you (as the designer) presume will provide the results which you desire. Pretty sure there are no Pre Mat products which do NOT do such. Every one of them (AFAIK) do what they are advertised to do.
So, yes, I got tired of correcting the low-watt-bulbs who, absent data, claimed that the Pre Mat products did not do so.
To make it clear, bring data or STFU.

Hi Ron. We’d love to hear from you regularly again. Maybe you could just ignore those few people who aren’t worth your breath. The rest of us know which way is up.
