1955 Coupe

#1 Post by John Wurner »

First time on this site.
A friend has a 55 Coupe in very good original condition.
I will be trying to help him sell the car
VIN is 53103, released from the Factory Jan 27, 1955.
Numbers matching (engine and transmission).
Is this a Continental? The emblems are no longer on the car, but I can feel some bondoed up holes in that area where they should be.
Also we dont know value, any help appreciated.
I will take some pics soon.
John

Thank you, I did not know that such a registry exists.
I dont want to advertise the car with wrong info.

53103 was delivered in silver metallic paint with blue vinyl upholstery. It sold in November 2021 on Bring a Trailer for $169,000 wearing red paint with tan upholstery.

Thank you, Jim.
The owner wants me to help him sell the car, he is the one who bought the car off BAT.
