Authentic or just an old prank?

I found this written on the back of my door hinge cover plate. I'm the second owner of this car, the first owner being my great uncle.

Do you think this was a message from someone on the assembly line, or just a joke from someone in the car's past?

That looks like old german handwriting for sure. All ivory, 6 sets. I guess it was a note to or from the paint booth!
