19mm Front SwayBar - Where to find Bushings?

#1 Post by Conrad Carter »

Just purchased a used 19mm front sway bar. Inner bushings are shot. Anyone got a source?

Conrad:
I made 19mm bar bushings from 15mm bushings using diamond hole saws. Last time I talked to Terry at International Mercantile, he had 17mm bushings also. I purchased some diamond hole saws on ebay and slowly reamed the bushing. I believe I used an 18mm hole saw. You are going to have to use some rubber compatible lube (even dish soap would probably work) to get them on. Good luck.....

Brooks,
I will give it a try. Hadn’t thought about that type of drill bit.
