You can find almost anyone on the internet these days, if you cant find the person you are dealing with, it is because they don't want to be found. and that is telling in its self.
I have bought and sold ( mostly bought) many parts on the Registry site, or Samba. all at smalish dollar values, hate Pay Pal and usually do cheque or cash deals through the mail as I am not in a hurry..
always has worked out..

Which Door hinge

Which door hinge has the secret VIN? I assume it is the body connection. Upper or lower? My Cab? is pretty much of a Frankenstein. It would give me some more info.

Right door. There’s a vertical edge between the hinges with the number stamped in. It’s hidden by the thin aluminum cover plate.

Only from about 1961; not found on earlier cars.
