Hi All
On the Earlier Engines (616/2) etc The Centre Main Bearing is located by a small Dowel Pin , instead of the later tabs
and sometimes the centre bearing housing takes a pounding.and this Dowel Pin elongates the location hole. What is the 'Fix' for this problem ? Weld and re drill ? or go up a size dowel pin?
Regards Jay

Re: Centre Main Bearing
Hi Jay
usually, a stepped dowel will suffice if the line bore is correct (which was the probable cause of the working of the pin).
