wanted Spstr conv top bolt
I'm looking for a sample of the shouldered bolt that holds the Speedster convertible top to the body. See below sketch

Brad
No shoulder bolt called for here although the bolt was a special item.
The Speedster top frame is supported by the 12mm diameter x 3mm shoulder on the bearing plate that is welded to the body.
The M8 bolt just secures the top frame on the bearing plate.
In the 540 Technical Parts List the fastener is described as a Hex Bolt with groove. The original part is an M8 x 15 with an unmarked 14 mm ATF hex head.
Below the head is a short (2 - 3mm) unthreaded section with a shallow groove. The groove retains a red fiber washer 17 O.D x 8.4 x 2mm thick.
