Telephone wiring

My friend Hans was having telephone issues at his shop. He decided to take a look at the telephone box outside the building next to the street. There were wires sticking out of the sides of the box. He opened it up and here is what he saw:

It looks to me that he has one bad splice. It's located just to the left of center, about two thirds of the way up and a half inch onto the cluster. He should be able to fix it easily.
Some days it's just not worth chewing through the restraints.....

Looks like typical under the dash 356 wiring except the wires are smaller ...
