My Spec Book, Parts Catalog, etc says it this way 7 : 34 .

To add some context, the first 519 transaxles for Porsches in 1952 used ABBC as standard for coupes and cabs according period documentation.
When the the 589 motor (1300 S) was introduced in 1953, these cars got ABBB as standard.
And when the Speedster was introduced in 1954, it got ABAB.
This covers the pre-A period, though of course the other gear sets were available for racing pretty much from the beginning.
Data below.
The VW transaxle used on Porsches from 1950 to 1952, again according to factory documentation:
The early documentation during the pre-A period did not label gear sets by letter. That said, the early documentation says the ratios were the following, with the implied gears (# of teeth) and letter code taken from the 1956 Workshop Manual:
For the 356 Speedster it was
