New floats weber 40 idf

Hi

I need new floats for my 33 year old weber 40 idf 70 8B made in Italy, due to cracking i bottom . What is the correct weigt pr. float and does it matter if they are original weber?
Porsche 356 B T6 1962/7 Slategrey/Coralred
Porsche 911 1966 Bahamayellow/Black pipita

You can buy off-brand ones on Amazon for $9--probably would work fine.

These are listed for All the IDF Weber's by Webcon .Think they are the official Weber dealer over here in the UK. They are listed at £36.93 GBP.

Are there hairline cracks, or are the floats disintegrating? I've sealed hairline cracks with water-thin CyA (super)glue, which wicks in.

Probably been covered loads of times. But being some sort of 'Plastic' Is Ethanol basically melting them?

They’re out there. Google 40 idf and you should see many vendors out there.

I have a couple of pair if needed
