I was in Mike's speedster when I weighed 300 lbs. How he carried me and all his tools (etc.) was very interesting. 2 weeks with him in California...oh boy al

Jules For the entire run of VW's air cooled automobiles none ever had any temperature sensor air, oil, engine heat, or for that matter anything else. Up to 1962 they did not have a fuel gauge. The temperature never seemed to be concern for the MILLIONS of people who owned and drove the VW, al zim

Vic - you are correct - we have the same last name.. and Dave does live in Canada sometimes (summer) and I have bought parts and talked to Dave.. but different mother for sure
