I needed to adjust the split shaft Solex PII dependent butterfly with the small slotted adjuster screw. Were I a dentist I could have done it easily using a mirror. As it was I nearly gave up and pulled the carburetor. But I solved the problem by putting a brass tube around the screw driver blade, crimping the tube above the blade to hold it. The tube, about 1/8" longer than the blade end allowed me to slide the tube over the screw, rotate to engage the slot, and make the adjustment by feel. K&S brass tubing to the rescue...again.

This does a great job protecting your paint when doing other DIYs.

It "was" my wife's yoga mat...... won't slide off since it's made of rubber and is dent resistant too.

one less headache to worry about.... leftover pipe foam.

Please click on photo in order to see it correctly.
I'm still not sure how to properly orient the pic when moving it to the forum.

Any other hacks are always welcome!
