59 Carrera GT Small Horn

#1 Post by Chris Frank »

Does anyone know the PN for the small horns used on the lightweight GT's in 1959?
Photos of the horn and mount would be appreciated.

Yes, A single horn. I am going through some boxes with small horns, with Bosch and non-Bosch small horns. I have this photo from the web but honestly, this looks like a Bosch 901 horn in the photo and for some reason, I thought it was a BMW motorcycle horn off of a R26/R60...

Chris, I believe they only used one of the regular style two horns. Whether it was the low or high tone one I would have to check in my documentation which is mostly on 58 / 59 GT speedsters

@Joris, If you could check your archives I would appreciate it. The photo I shared is the ex-Dean Watts car now in the Ingram collection.
