Re: Eisenmann mufflers
Jorge,
I bought one last year for my restoration of a 63B..i just built the engine and haven't gotten it finished to run. The quality looks good. Be aware that they build these one at a time when ordered. It took about 9 months to get mine during the COVID slowdown. May be quicker now.
Regards,
David Patrick

Re: Eisenmann mufflers
I looked at them, and given the negitive Dansk chatter, considerd it.. as they look very very good..
I however went with the black devil, and it worked just fine..
The Eisenmann looks so much better however ( read I regret not getting that).

I bought one of this brand for my 1971 911S and love it. Sounds correct and fit well.

That post was 2017. Check with James to see if he is still happy.
I recall reading other positive reviews of Eisenmann mufflers (suggest review of all results from a search of the Forum) and that most suggest the higher price is worth it.

Re: Eisenmann mufflers
Apparently, they only list the B/C muffler. I e-mailed them to see if they could make an A length muffler but never got a reply.

Re: Eisenmann mufflers
Their German website allows you to select a muffler for a 356A. Probably need to call the local agent.

Re: Eisenmann mufflers
I installed the Eisenmann exhaust on my 63 T6. Dry test fit was okay, but had to take off and refininsh the mating surfaces to be completely flush with the head. Sound is pretty close to stock, maybe a touch louder. The internal baffles do not follow a stock design as I understand it, but I have not confirmed this. It is not an unpleasant noise by any means Just a little louder.

Call Nate at 866-963-4520. The distributor is in the Chicago area. He was my contact for my 911 muffler. Tell him George Kehler referred you. Good luck.

Re: Eisenmann mufflers
The fit was about 0.5mm off. I enlarged the holes for the manifold studs from 8.5mm to 9.0mm and it went on like butter. No bending needed.
