Seems expensive, I paid $750 for the engine tinware, 5 wheels and several other small bits. I would say the tinware was about $350. I had it done 50% gloss and it looks great.

10-4, like I said in my previous post these guys make their money on "production line" jobs with hundreds of pieces to do. When they have to shut that all down for our little jobs then they charge accordingly. I used to have a lot of things powder coated for customers but my guy started upping his price like Greg experienced and then eventually just stopped taking our calls.

Again, Google VW & powder coating, you'll find someone. The VW guys usually latch on to a hobbyist that does it and it's not that expensive.
