Alodine 1200

If you have an aircraft repair station or FBO close by they will have a alodine dip tank. It’s not too hard, but the case must be super clean and don’t leave it in too long , easy process but the EPA hates it

It can be brushed or sprayed, but the best finish is a dip and roll, in a tank and soaking fresh tap water rinse. It is available as a crystal to mix with Deionized water. I used to buy it in gallon paint cans from Henkel, had a 40 gallon tank for airplane parts. A gallon can of crystals would last a couple years. Used the tank every day.
