WTB speedometer in km/h

#1 Post by Maurizio Santini »

Sorry for posting here and not in Classified Ads.
I have in my car a speedometer in MPH which I would trade-in or simply buy another in km/h, when possible stamped late 1963, any conditions.
Conversion to km/h is not an option as first instance.
Thank you
Mau

you could send it to Palo Alto Speedometer and they could convert it. Ask for Hartmut

Send your speedometer off to one of the 2 rebuilders. The speedometer will be overhauled AND they can put a new kilometer face on it. The needle will move the same in MPH and KM. AND you have a speedometer that works. Zim I am sure that a provision for Kilometers on the odometer and trip odometer.
I changed the speedometer in my 1957 car to and electric speedometer from a 911. Not cheap, it looks the same as a 356 speedometer and relies on GPS. For accuracy.
We can take care of that for you, Zimz Our phone number is on the inside cover of the 356 registry.

That’s good as long as they have a solution for the odometer, I don’t know if that takes a single gear or more.
