There is more to getting the engine to run properly than jetting the carburetors. The distributor will probably need to be serviced. An aftermarket distributor may be a wise choice if your is completely worn out. Camshaft design is important for correct running at high or low speed as well as having the cam followers (AKA lifters) with the correct radius. A great deal depends on assembling the engine. Get someone with a lot of experience to assist you. TREAT THE SHOP MANUAL AS IF IT IS YOUR BIBLE...WHITCH IT IS. Money correctly spent will leed to a Porsche that will make you smile owning and when it comes time to sell. Zim

if you have the three piece matching case, I would certainly use it, just have to switch to the 65 356 electric tachometer. Factory matched pieces sure make it easier to assembly and work
