I have a question, I have two knobs that are used on A T1 cars so I have been told.
Do they also apply to pre-A cars?

Re: Dash knobs
Pre As used two different versions of the knob. The earliest was the waterfall version. The one you have pictured was used on late Pre As.

Re: Dash knobs
The bolts are definitely replacements. The knob originally used cheese head screws/bolts...

Re: Dash knobs
As Rick said, these knobs were introduced in April 1954 between coupes 51857 and 51897. So the last ~month of 1953 model year production had them. And all the 1954 and 1955 pre-As too. Coupes used them on both ashtray and glovebox, cabriolets, just ashtray, as the glovebox had a keyed button.
