New Mexico's electrical current is dirtier than in most other parts of the country. Not unusual to see these spark filters on engines there.
Some days it's just not worth chewing through the restraints.....

I once made a compressed air powered battery charger as a joke. It turned out to be useful. An air motor and a generator on a piece of plywood.
