Rubber part identification
Does anyone know what part number 644.584.919.00 is for. It is a flat rubber piece about 17mm wide and 99cm long 3 ribs on one edge. I can't find it in any of the parts books.

Re: Rubber part identification
Sounds like the front seal on a T-6 door.

Can't find such a door piece in the parts book. Here is a picture of it (one end).

Re: Rubber part identification
A pic of the front seal on my door. Only one rib. I can't locate the part number either and I have looked the A, B, B supplement and C parts manuals. Now I do not think it is a door seal.

Jim, are you sure about the part number? I even went through the PEP catalog and could not find it.

Mike
That seal is smooth with a curved edge. The part I have is flat with 3 ribs.
Thanks

Re: Rubber part identification
Right. I figured out that it isn't a door seal. Perplexing. Hopefully someone else knows what this part is for. I don't think I have run across it.

Re: Rubber part identification
My mistake. Part number is 644.564.919.00. Still not found in any of the parts books. My guess is that it might be somehow for a sunroof. Picture of part tag attached.

Re: Rubber part identification
Hi Jim, It is in section 6/6a A. of the Supplement of the B Parts manual. Called a Keep Off Profile, 1000mm long. I am restoring a C sunroof, I like old parts, if you would like to sell it, I'm a buyer. Tried to email you but your contact doesn't appear. Thanks, jim.

Jim
Thanks for the reply. I had looked in the B Supplement and looked again, but can't find it, nor in Section 10 with the parts number lookup. What is the illustration number in 6/6a?
