Wedge turn signals, what year?

#1 Post by John Wurner »

I have a set of wedge type turn signals for the front of 356 cars, I think.
They are wider than what is on my 59 Coupe.
In the pic they are on the far right and the narrow wedge is in front of the larger ones.
Trying to figure out what they belong to.
Thanks, John

The last row is for B-C cars, I have a 60 Roadster with that type.
The ones on the front right are wedges only, just like the thinner wedges for A cars, but much wider.

They all look like twisties except for the single wedge by itself on the left. This looks like a wedge base for a '58 model with 2665 bezels and beehive fixtures.
There is an excellent 2010 technical article from the old website in the technical library. You should be able to match what you have with the pictures and descriptions in this article.

The lenses are twist on.
The two turn signals in question do not have the offset, they are smooth wedges all the way around.
Its the bottom pair, one is right side up and the other upside down.
Thanks for trying to help.

Ahh smooth all the way around with no notch for the vent hole. Never seen those before.
