Thanks Antoine! Making slow progress on reassembly. Enjoying seeing the painted car every time I go out to the garage to work on it.

Starting to look like a car again. Going to have to get moving on getting my new engine's rotating mass balanced and another batch of powder coat soon.

Looking good, looks like you have until 2023 to finish it in 10 years, way to go it make me feel better with my own project schedules
Are those fog lights OEM or repro/classic Hella? If repros are you happy with the quality?
Over here NOS originals sometimes show up at a decent price, like these old Bosch lamps, "close but no cigar" not the right ones for the 356 but what lovely production quality.

Thanks Trond. Appreciate the reply. I was wondering if anyone was even looking for me to bother posting updates. Also glad I could be of service with my project's slow progress.
The fog lights are original Hellas, albeit slightly later than my car. Lenses are repros as the originals were severely pitted.

Most of the dash is out of the way. Wiring the new triple combo guage was fun (sense the sarcasm?).

Sharp looking dash and instruments, looks like they have been away for rebuild? They remind me that I have to send away my bouncy rev counter for rebuild. The triple combo gauge is for what, later gauge for a 91x?
Most (car)forums seem to be getting more quiet, I suppose more and more people spend time on social media and less in old style forums? I feel the same happens on Pelican, Rennlist, Ferrarichat, the E-typeforum to name a few.

Hi Trond. Gauges were done some years ago by North Hollywood. The combo gauge was built by them - they call it 904 triple cluster. I wanted to add an oil pressure gauge without drilling another hole in the dash or removing the clock.

Gauges are looking really great! Love this "904" triple gauge!

Bumpers are on and headliner is going in. My first headliner, but I think it is turning out OK.

The headliner looks fine, good job and roll up the sleeves the spring is lurking.
Lovely color, my '63 coupe should have the same color, never fancied very bright whites on curvey cars as they (to me) hide the curves and shapes of a car but add "yellowish" and it's another story.
A few years ago we had to respray a door after fixing bubbles down on the passenger door, the paint was scanned and the '63 had a 98% match on mustang wimbledon white.
OK, its wearing the color of a ponycar now, but it sure looks good. It cant be much difference.
Wimbledon white from the internet.

Hi Trond. The pictures in the garage don't really reflect the color all that well, it is actually not that yellow - it is, for sure, a little darker than the original white as evidenced by the paint under the dash that I saved. Agree about your comment on the bright whites. The C Ivory is too light for me...

Still lots of debugging and a punch list of unfinished items left to do, but together enough to put some miles on the new engine and rebuilt transmission. Glad to be behind the windshield killing bugs, finally!

White really is influenced by lighting. That's a pretty big difference in your 2 pictures.
