What were the years these scripts were used? Top one is
10 1/2", five pins, R on back, others two are 8 1/2" three pin R on back.
Thanks, John

Re: Porsche scripts
My early B has the 10.5 inch on the rear and has the 8 inch one on the front between the bumper and the hood

Re: Porsche scripts
The 10 1/2-inch script is on the rear of T5s; the shorter scripts are 356A and possibly earlier.
Not sure about the early T5 front script; the T5 parts book only lists the longer script for the rear. The prototype T5 pictured in the manuals has the shorter script, so Brock is probably correct.

Re: Porsche scripts
John Per Jon Bunin the front script on the single mount B's was the longer script same as back. A script was shorter. "#13 Post by Jon Bunin » Sat Sep 27, 2014 11:58 pm

Jon, your statement is not correct. 356B cars produced as a 1960 model-year car did carry-over the the A model "PORSCHE" script on its nose.
Larry, my statement is correct.
Front scripts on early B models were the 26 cm B version, not the 21 cm A version."

Most of those pictures were airbrushed Jan. There is one even that if you look closely the front Porsche emblem is backwards!Jan Kolm wrote: ↑Sun Jan 23, 2022 4:35 pm The 10 1/2-inch script is on the rear of T5s; the shorter scripts are 356A and possibly earlier.

Re: Porsche scripts
Here's a good view of an early T5 front script, from the March 1960 issue of Road & Track.
