As requested, this is a new forum for the Type 547 engine and cars they powered. Thanks for all the suggestions on naming...I hope this works. Please report any issues you encounter to mbranning@porsche356registry.org. I will response as quickly as possible.

Actually, I was slow! A week of research and only a few minutes of action. Kind of like brain surgery...don't want to cut the wrong thing! 8)

Michael, thanks for arranging to have the new forum set up.

Although your initial post mentions 547 motors, I assume 692, 587 and other racing variants of the Fuhrmann 4 cam motor are also open for posts?

Sure. I'm unfortunately ignorant of the 4-cam stuff. I did get to drive my friend Larry's 4-cam powered 356 one time though.

If you and the other experts give me some coaching on what to change the description to, I'd appreciate it and will update.

Hi Mike. We have talked about that and I agree with you. Some of these things take more time than we would like but will get done.

Vic, yours is lacking too. It’s easy to find in your profile though. Mine too, I’ll try to update that.

On my computer it shows, on an iPhone it doesn’t. Some people have a list of their cars and location at the bottom of their post, that shows up in both formats for me.
