Front beam adjustment

#1 Post by Paul C Harrison »

Can anyone point me in the direction of a front beam adjustment how to, preferably with images. I have done many VW but it seems far easier access on a vw.
Thanks in advance.

Paul, the instructions are in the factory workshop manual.
If I had known I would live this long I would have pushed the envelope a little harder.

What adjustments do you mean? Link pin adjustment is identical to the vw.

Paul,
If you're looking to increase or decrease the ride height of your front end, this may help.

What confused me was that you said you were familiar with adjusting it on a VW. They have no adjustment, only a grub screw to lock it in place.

But the beam bolts on on the VW and can be replaced with an adjustable beam, or adjusters can be welded on to an existing beam...
