I am dead serious about winding down, read

#1 Post by Jeffrey Fellman »

I am sure many have seen my "Goodbye" display ad. I am putting this out on the Forum as I just posted the attached on FB and the garage is really set up for a 356. Most other cars will not fit into the space under the roof. I positioned the lift exactly to accommodate a 356. If you know any 356 nuts like myself who would like to move to Siesta Key please forward. Maybe some of you west coast guys would see the light and move to the correct coast i.e. the Gulf Coast.

After 37 years on Siesta Key I have decided to sell my 2500 sq/ft four bedroom/three bath home at 5444 Cape Leyte Dr. 34242. It is a very unusual property for the area as I am only a five minute walk to the most private part of Siesta Beach, the most beautiful beach in North America but have roughly .40 of an acre and one cannot see a neighbors house from my back yard. The real reason I am sharing on FB is that my home is a gear heads dream. I have a 7000lb. above ground lift in a three car, air conditioned attached garage as well as an attached air conditioned work room with a 240V air compressor. To say you simply will never find such a large lot so close to the beach with this feature is a mild understatement. On the other hand one could just do a teardown and have a 6,000 foot mansion five minutes to the beach with utter privacy. No agents please, only cash offers from principals. If you know of anyone looking to move to Siesta Key please forward.

Today I shoveled snow three times, it’s below 0 outside and I have a couple of roadsters that are stored in my packed garage until spring.
I am probably not his target audience.

There might be more than a few 356 parts and cars involved not to mention that there are a lot of houses for sale in the world but a large workshop and air conditioned garage on Siesta Key for sale? I think this would be the only one to even exist much less be for sale. Perhaps I inflate my contributions to the 356 world over the span of forty years but I think that my throwing in the towel in earnest and not just sabre rattling [is the Maestro retiring?] is of some note as well.
