I will throw my rare car into the ring, a 1970 ISO Rivolta LeLe, only 285 were made, only about 140 with Chevrolet engines, mine has a L79 327/350HP 11:00:1 compression.
Luis Ruf is a collector of ISO's.

Nice find, looks to be in reasonably good shape. I picked up 2 KG many years ago for next to nothing. The intent was to use the best of both to make one running car, but that project never got any traction.Ken Tuvman wrote: ↑Fri Aug 28, 2020 9:07 am I picked this up yesterday/ a 1971 KG coupe in good original condition- wi be on back burner while I continue to dial in my 61 356 - had a KG convertible in college - so similar to 356

Eric,
Thanks for the flashback! My first VW was a 61 just like that one. Loved that roof. I recall one time I hit a puddle and the water went over the roof without getting a drop in the car.

Cliff, first time I’ve seen a Velocet, at least what I can read. Pretty darn cool!
Are the rear shocks adjustable by sliding fore and aft within that slot? I also noticed that the oil tank looks very similar to a Sportster oil tank, maybe just a bit smaller perhaps. Very nice, I like it!

Re: Members' Old Cars - (Not 356 Porsche)
Robert, it is a 1962 Velocette Venom 500 single. They went out of business in 1970. They were a little like Morgan in that they did not advance much after WW2. The shocks do slide to change the effective spring and damper rates without changing ride height. Forward = soft, rearward - stiff.

Re: Members' Old Cars - (Not 356 Porsche)
Cliff, I guess that I’m just a sucker for classic bikes. That one is just up my alley. I haven’t owned an old scooter in many many years, but still love them. I recently saw a Janus at Harbor Freight that caught my attention. It’s a bike built in Indiana (I think) and had to take a picture. I didn’t know anything about them but had to look it up.
