Somewhat 356 related award
I provide the coffee and one of the donut suppliers for the Grand Terrace Cars and Coffee. The organizers wanted to show their appreciation and gave me an award. The award was welcomed, but not necessary. It's a win, win for me. I get the 63 super 90 and a classic camp stove out of the garage and get to visit with friends. Daryl sunny SoCal

Why are portrait type photos rotated 90 degs into landscape orientation? Is that a feature of the forum or a bug?

Brian,
I have no idea why some photos are on their side. This happens with my iPhone sometimes as well. I always preview my posts when uploading photos. If they are on their side, I rotate the offending photo offline and then try uploading it again.

Mark, I think you're onto it. The photo file must contain metadata which indicates orientation, i.e. "Which way is up?" So it's not the Forum's fault.
