Replacement Seats

Hi, I just came into possession of a 1964 C and I am thinking of replacing the seats. Before you torture me for going rouge, back problems are dictating something different and I do not want it to end up being a hangar queen. Does anyone have a suggestion of after market seats that would be an easy install? Thanks, Jim

Welcome. Not sure that I can help you much. Probably the most common swap is a Speedster type seat but I doubt that they would be better for your back. Flofit Recaro LT series and even 914 seats have been mentioned. Perhaps find a Recaro seat dealer near you and see if they can come up with anything? https://www.recaro-automotive.com/us/comfort According to this article: https://www.hagerty.com/media/automotiv ... s-exposed/ The Recaro Expert Houndstooth is supposed to fit: https://flat6motorsports.com/products/r ... xCEALw_wcB Some careful measuring is advised.

Wow, back and tailbone started throbbing just looking at it. Thanks for the input.

In the world of Porsche, you can usually pick cheap or nice, but usually not both.

When you said going rouge did you mean politically, as in red? Or going rogue? Either way nonstock seats is not a crime.
